In the last 3 weeks we learned about Mercy, Judgment and Beauty. Now this week it's all about Victory (Netzach).
Karen Berg explains how Moses literally had victory in his hands when he controlled the course of battle between the Israelites and the nation of Amalek by standing on a hill and raising and lowering his hands. She explained that Moses was given the job of receiving the Torah at Mount Sinai because it was through his tremendous spiritual effort and endurance that he achieved total understanding.
She also goes on to explain that all the energies from the 7 Weeks of Spirituality (the ten Sefirot) can be found in certain stones and crystals today. The energy of Netzach is found in a stone called Tarnish also known as Topaz. Topaz has healing energy and its vibration is used to release stuck energy and helpful to connect to personal truth.
What does this all have to do with us today? Whether you are religious or not, it doesn't matter, this is all about spirituality. It's about your own relationship with yourself, a higher power and your own belief behind it.
It's all about learning a lesson and the blessing behind any story we read whether it's real or not. It's about seeing the light in every situation and how we can apply it into our own journey.
Endurance, ambition and determination are key factors in gaining victory. And since victory is the energy of this week, learn how to apply and experience victory in your life today. Endurance is a balance of patience, persistence and guts. Without endurance, any good desire or intention has no chance of victory.
Having endurance means to be and feel alive, to be driven by what truly matters. It's about fighting for what you believe and going all the way. It's an energy and a life force that comes from within and stops at nothing to achieve it's goal. This force requires that endurance be used in a healthy and productive manner.
In order to have victory you need: love, compassion, discipline, dignity, bonding, endurance and humility.
The chakra that is connected to this week's energy is the third chakra (in the Sefirot) which is the Solar Plexus.
When this chakra is blocked we feel low self-esteem, we don't think we are good enough, we fear rejection, we don't have control over ourselves and no will power. When this chakra is balanced and cleared we feel empowered, strong, positive thoughts, and we have strong will power. This chakra is connected to the stomach, small intestine, liver, digestion, pancreas and even blood sugar. So make sure to have your Solar Plexus cleared so you don't manifest physical issues in those areas.
This week there was a riot and uproar in Baltimore, Maryland. No surprise here as the energy of this week is about victory, endurance and fighting for what you believe in. Sad to me that everyone involved in the riot turned to violence. Riots have been around since the beginning of our history text books. No news there.
My friend Natalie explained to me how the two most rival gangs joined forces for this riot because a young boy died in the hands of a cop. This means people can learn to set aside their differences for a cause.
Anyone that knows me knows I have a rebel heart so I am all about protesting and standing up to the powers at be. But I am highly against violence as this is the most negative energy there is. There are ways to stand up against the forces that are trying to oppress you, but you most do so in a positive way.
Like Madonna once sang "Let LOVE shine and we will find a way to come together to make things better!"
Real change and power starts with you and within yourself. Start by awakening yourself to the truth, not what you read, see, or hear by media, text books or people. Listen to your inner self for true guidance. The light that shines within yourself will never steer you wrong.
When you are awakened you will start attracting others that are awakened or need to be awakened and together you can create change by sharing your light with the world. Lead by example. Your thoughts, actions and energy cause a ripple effect.
Have a wonderful week filled with victory in every situation you are in. May you find a cause you believe in and educate others how to achieve victory. Let your light shine in a positive way!
Week 4 is over on Saturday at sundown.
